Steering wheel shaking? Tire losing air overnight? That’s a bent rim — and most mobile wheel services in LA will tell you they don’t fix it. We do: we straighten bends on the inner lip at your home or office, $250.

How you know it’s bent

A bent rim announces itself three ways: a vibration in the steering wheel that gets worse above 50 mph, a tire that needs air every few days with no visible puncture, or a visible flat spot or wobble on the inner lip. Any one of those, and fixing the cosmetic damage won’t help — the wheel needs to be straightened.

02

Why most mobile services say no

Straightening takes hydraulic equipment and judgment about when a bend is safe to repair. It’s easier to only do cosmetic work — which is why the biggest mobile wheel companies in LA state plainly that they don’t repair bent rims. We built our setup to handle it on-site.

03

What we straighten — and what we don’t

We straighten bends on the inner lip — the back side of the wheel you don’t see. That’s where most bends happen (a pothole pinches the inner barrel), and it’s what causes the vibration and the slow leak. If the bend is on the outer face — the part you can see — that’s not something we straighten. Send a photo and we’ll tell you straight, before you book anything.

04

What the repair looks like

  1. Text us a photo of the wheel (the inner lip if you can get it) and your zip code. You’ll get a straight answer — straightenable or not — and a firm price, usually within minutes.
  2. We come to you. Home, office, parking garage. The wheel comes off and gets straightened on our equipment.
  3. About an hour later, you’re done. $250. If the bend came with curb rash, we can repair the face in the same visit.
05

Straight talk on the guarantee

Straightening is structural work on metal that’s already been stressed, so we don’t put a guarantee on a straightened wheel. (Our 3-year guarantee covers our curb rash work.) What we will do: tell you honestly if a bend is too severe to straighten safely — before you’ve paid a dollar.

06

When we’ll tell you no

A cracked or severely deformed wheel isn’t a straightening job — pressure on compromised aluminum isn’t safe, and we won’t do it. If your wheel is cracked, that’s a welding repair (cracked rim welding). Outer-face bends we don’t straighten. If it can’t be saved, we’ll say so before charging you anything. No upsell.

Mike was an absolute pleasure to conduct business with. He was professional, informative, punctual, and communicative throughout the process. His work is immaculate. I cannot tell where my rim was originally damaged. I am beyond satisfied with his service and would highly recommend him to anyone with curb rash.

I had curb rash on two of my rims and thought I’d have to buy new ones, but they saved me so much money! They came right to my house, fixed everything the same day, and now my rims look brand new. Super professional, quick, and way more affordable than I expected. Highly recommend if you want your car looking perfect again!

Great job fixing a curb scratch off my 2025 Lexus LS500. This is a chrome rim and he was able to fix it flawlessly. Highly recommended.

Questions, answered.

Is a straightened rim safe?
When the bend is within repairable limits, straightening brings the wheel back true. We don’t guarantee straightening — it’s structural work on stressed metal — but we won’t take on a bend we don’t believe is safe to repair.
What if the bend is on the outer face?
We only straighten inner-lip bends. If it’s on the face you can see, we’ll tell you from your photo rather than take your money.
Can you fix it without taking the tire off?
No, and be wary of anyone who says yes. Proper straightening requires the wheel off the car and the tire unseated. We handle all of that on-site.
How long does it take?
About an hour per wheel at your location.
Bent AND scraped?
Straightening plus a curb rash repair in one visit — ask for the combined price when you text your photo.

Don’t drive on it another week.
