The job
Full-time, across Los Angeles.
Your day is already booked when you wake up. No chasing customers, no quoting, no haggling over price. Addresses and wheels — that’s what you get sent.
Four to eight wheels a day, in driveways, office parking lots and parking garages. The car doesn’t move. You do.
About an hour a wheel. Sand it back, fill the gouges, match the color, clear coat it, hand it back looking factory.
Photos before and after, on every wheel, same day. Non-negotiable. It’s how we stand behind a one-year guarantee and it’s how you get paid.
What you need
Four things. That’s the whole list.
You can make curb rash disappear. Not cover it — disappear. Black, silver, gray and factory colors, matte and gloss.
A clean driver’s license and a car you can get to jobs in.
You turn up inside the window. Our entire reputation is that we show up when we said we would. If that’s not you, this won’t work.
You answer your phone. English, Armenian or Spanish — all three work fine here.
Why this beats a shop
$300+ a day once you’re up to speed — that’s $6,600–$7,800 a month working five or six days. Never less than $4,000.
You don’t buy anything. Paint, materials, all supplied.
Steady work. We are turning work away right now, not looking for it.
Mike trains you on our finishes before you’re out on your own. He’s the best at this and he holds nothing back.
No shop politics. No service advisor, no upselling, nobody over your shoulder. Just you and the wheel.
And what this isn’t
We’d rather you know now than find out in week two.
We do curb rash. No welding, no bent rims, no powder coating, no diamond cut, no chrome. If you’re a refinishing specialist, this is narrower than what you do.
It’s physical and it’s outdoors — kneeling on asphalt in August, working in parking garages in the rain.
It’s one wheel at a time, done properly. We’re not a volume shop and we don’t rush a repair to make a slot.
How to apply
Straight from your phone — about a minute. Have these three things ready:
1Three photos of wheels you’ve fixed. Before and after if you have them. Phone photos are fine.
2How long you’ve been doing this, and where you learned.
